Front Range Roundtable Implementation
To track and foster the implementation of the Front Range Fuels Treatment Partnership Roundtable's ten recommendations, which require action by multiple local, state, and national entities working together to improve forest health.

Continental Divide Trail Alliance (CO)
Volunteers and Youth Corps on the Continental Divide Trail
To coordinate 14 weeks of CDTA Youth Corps and over 700 CDTA Volunteer Days to construct 7 miles of new trail and reconstruct an additional 1 mile for the Continental Divide Scenic Trail in 2007.

EarthCorps Summer Youth Service Program 2007
To make a positive contribution to healthy environments while educating local youth and promoting a community stewardship ethic toward natural areas by engaging teens and young adults in restoration and stewardship projects on NF lands.

Takilma Road Meadow Knapweed Control
To implement a second year of knapweed control by non-chemical methods along 5 miles of private land leading into FS land. The project hires a weed crew to work the right of way on both sides, and a coordinator to engage adjoining landowners.

FDRD Forest Stewards Program MAP022006
To further develop an ongoing volunteer program, the Forest Stewards Program. In addition to development and growth of the crew leader, ranger patrol and outreach educator activities, three new community groups will be targeted for this program.

Crooked River National Grassland Upland Sage Initiative and Metolious River Basin Restoration Project
To continue restoration and rehabilitation projects in the B&B fire area of the Metolious River Basin and on the Crooked River National Grassland. 6 youth crews (36 youth) will gain job skills, earn school credit, and engage in science activities.
